Delete Asia & Pacific Payments

Payments can be deleted from the Asia & Pacific Payments menus in the following transaction statuses:

  • Approve Failed
  • Draft
  • Future Dated (excluding Account Transfers)
  • File Upload Rejected (Validation Failed)
  • FX Threshold Exceeded
  • Pending Approval
  • Partially Approved
  • Returned by Bank
  • Verified

Once deleted, the payment is permanently removed from the payment screens and will not appear on any payment report.

  • The Delete functionality is currently only available for PNG customers, with other Pacific jurisdictions, Laos and Japan coming soon
  • You must have the appropriate entitlements to delete a payment, else the Delete button will be disabled.

Delete payments from the following menus:

Approve Payments
The Approve Payments screen can display up to 500 of the latest payments in the grid.
STEP ACTION
1 Go to the Asia & Pacific Payments > Approve Payments screen
2 Locate the payment you want to delete. There are several ways to find a payment: 
  • Use View on the Control Bar to view payments in a Pending Approval transaction status. Choose from:
    • All
    • Payments for Approval
    • Payments for My Approval
  • Use Filter on the Control Bar and enter Pending Approval in the transaction status text box
  • Sort columns by clicking on the column heading. The column will reorder in ascending order. Click again to order in descending order.
3 Locate the payment and use one of the following methods to delete the payment: 
  • Method 1: Right-click on the payment and click Delete on the Context Menu
  • Method 2: Select the payment(s) and click Actions > Delete on the Control Bar
  • Method 3: Click on the payment in the list to display the Payment Details screen and then click Delete on the Control Bar
Current Payments
The Current Payments screen can display up to 500 of the latest payments in the grid.
STEP ACTION
1 Go to the Asia & Pacific Payments > Current Payments screen
2 Locate the payment you want to delete. There are several ways to find a payment: 
  • Use View on the Control Bar to view payments in a Draft or Future Value Dated status. Choose from:
    • All
    • Futured Dated Payments
  • Use Filter on the Control Bar and enter either Draft or Future Value Dated in the transaction status text box
  • Sort columns by clicking on the column heading. The column will reorder in ascending order. Click again to order in descending order.
3 Locate the payment and use one of the following methods to delete the payment: 
  • Method 1: Right-click on the payment and click Delete on the Context Menu
  • Method 2: Select the payment(s) and click Actions > Delete on the Control Bar
  • Method 3: Click on the payment in the list to display the Payment Details screen and then click Delete on the Control Bar
Past Payments
The Past Payments screen can display up to 1000 payments in the grid based on your searched criteria. If the number of payments exceeds 1000, please further refine your search criteria.
STEP ACTION
1 Go to the Asia & Pacific Payments > Past Payments screen.
2 Enter at least one field in the search criteria and the instrument status, then click Search.
3 Click on the payment to view the Payment Details Screen, then click Delete.
File Import Summary
The File Import Summary screen can display up to 1000 payments in the grid.
STEP ACTION
1 Go to the Asia & Pacific Payments > File Import Summary screen
2 Locate the payment you want to delete. There are several ways to find a payment: 
  • Use Filter on the Control Bar and enter either Pending Approval, File Upload Rejected or Verified in the transaction status text box
  • Sort columns by clicking on the column heading. The column will reorder in ascending order. Click again to order in descending order.
3 Locate the payment and use one of the following methods to delete the payment: 
  • Method 1: Right-click on the payment and click Delete on the Context Menu
  • Method 2: Select the payment(s) and click Delete on the Control Bar
  • Method 3: Select the payment and click View Payment on the Control Bar and then click Delete on the Control Bar
