As part of ANZ’s commitment to enhance your digital banking experience, we are upgrading all customers from ANZ Transactive Cash Asia to ANZ Transactive – Global. This article sets out what you need to do to get ready for the move, and activities to undertake when you have been notified that you are upgrading to ANZ Transactive – Global.
How to Get Ready
The first step is for all ANZ Transactive Cash Asia users to get ready for the new functionality. To help you, we’ve developed the following resources available on ANZ Digital Services Help:

What will be migrated to ANZ Transactive – Global?
- Beneficiaries that are in an Authorised status in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia will be moved to your Beneficiaries list in ANZ Transactive – Global unless they:
- Are missing details in the following fields:
- Beneficiary account number
- Beneficiary Bank Swift Code
- Address Details (international beneficiaries only)
- Address line 3 or City (international beneficiaries only)
- Country (international beneficiaries only)
- Have an invalid Beneficiary Bank Swift Code
- Beneficiary Bank Swift Code needs to be 11 characters. If it's currently 8 characters, add XXX at the end, e.g. change ANZBAU3M to ANZBAU3MXXX.
- Are missing details in the following fields:
- If a beneficiary in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia qualifies for Domestic and International payment methods, separate beneficiary records will be created in ANZ Transactive – Global. International beneficiaries will have an " IMT" (<Space>IMT) at the end of the beneficiary name, e.g. Jane Citizen IMT.
- Intermediary bank details assigned to beneficiaries will not be available as these are not included in the beneficiary record in ANZ Transactive – Global. If you need to specify beneficiary Intermediary Bank details, please ensure these are included in the payment Beneficiary Payment Details pop-up. Alternatively, you can include this information in templates for future use.
- To ensure a smooth migration of your beneficiaries, please do not modify beneficiary details in the two weeks prior to your upgrade date.
- Post your upgrade, ANZ recommends verifying the details of migrated beneficiaries in your Beneficiaries list.

Past payments: Payment history will not be available in ANZ Transactive – Global, however upgraded users will retain a ‘view only’ role in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia for a period of time, should you need to download payment history. ANZ recommends you download payment reports in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia prior to your upgrade.
How to download payment reports in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia
- Click on the Reports menu
- Select Detailed Payment Transaction Report from the Report Code drop-down
- Click Filter
- Click On Request
- Select From Processing Date and To Processing Date
If you process large volumes of payments, we recommend selecting small date ranges to download.
- Add criteria as required and click Generate
- Repeat steps 2-6 for the Payment Transaction Trail Batch Report

Future dated payments: Future dated payments created in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia that are in a Warehoused status will process on their value date. Please note:
- If you have upgraded to ANZ Transactive – Global and need to cancel a Warehoused payment, please contact ANZ.
- Warehoused payment details will not be available in ANZ Transactive – Global.
- A Debit Advice will be emailed on the Warehoused payment value date. If you do not receive a Debit Advice, please refer to your account statement.
- In-flight payments: Payments not submitted for processing, i.e. in draft or pending approval, will not be moved to ANZ Transactive – Global. Therefore it is important that you approve and submit any payments in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia that need to be processed no later than the Friday before your upgrade date.
If you currently receive Scheduled Reports via email in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia, you will need to recreate these in ANZ Transactive – Global in the Account Reports and Payment Reports screens.
How to Create Templates Using Migrated Beneficiaries
- Create a New Template and add beneficiaries that have been migrated from ANZ Transactive Cash Asia. See instructional articles in the following sections for more information:
- Create from Copying a Payment that has been created in ANZ Transactive – Global and is in any of these statuses: Needs Repair, Pending Approval, Future Dated, Processing, Bank Rejected, Insufficient Funds or Completed.
How to Create Payments
- Create a New Payment and add beneficiaries that have been migrated from ANZ Transactive Cash Asia. See instructional articles in the following sections for more information:
- Create from Using a Past Payment that has been created in ANZ Transactive – Global and is in any of these statuses: Completed, Completed with Error or Bank Rejected.

Where your roles in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia cannot be mapped to one of the above roles, a new Custom Role will be created for your users.
Pre-Upgrade Activities

Beneficiaries:
- Ensure all beneficiaries you would like moved to ANZ Transactive – Global are in an Authorised status.
- Where possible, do not modify beneficiary details in the two weeks prior to your upgrade date.

Payments:
- Download past payment reports in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia.
How to download payment reports in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia
- Click on the Reports menu
- Select a payment report from the Report Code drop-down. Payment reports include Detailed Payment Transaction Report, Payment Summary Report, Payments Transaction Trail Batch, Payments Transaction Trail Instrument and Transaction Detail Report.
- Click Filter
- Click On Request
- Select From Processing Date and To Processing Date
If you process large volumes of payments, we recommend selecting small date ranges to download.
- Add criteria as required and click Generate
- Repeat steps 2-6 for other payment reports if required.
- Payments not approved or in a draft status will not be moved to ANZ Transactive – Global. Therefore it is important that you approve and submit any payments in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia that need to be processed no later than the Friday before your upgrade date. Alternatively, you will need to re-create these payments in ANZ Transactive – Global after you have been enabled with payments functionality.
- Download past payment reports in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia.
- Reports: If you currently receive account scheduled reports via email in ANZ Transactive Cash Asia, you will need to recreate these in ANZ Transactive – Global. See Account Reports for more information.
- Templates: Where possible, do not modify template details in the two weeks prior to your upgrade date.
- Consolidation customers with AU/NZ site: Please ensure all current Administrators are KYC’d across all applicable jurisdictions at least two weeks prior to your upgrade date. If not, administrator access will be removed until this is completed.

Post-Upgrade Activities and Checks
- Confirm your ability to access the Payments menus (if entitled).
- Verify details of migrated beneficiaries in your Beneficiaries list.
- Verify details of migrated templates in your Templates list.
- Setup Notifications and Alerts for the following:
- Payments: receive an email when an ad-hoc beneficiary is used, a transaction has been processed, a transaction is pending authorisation, a beneficiary has been updated or when a payment is released to the bank for processing
- Inward (Direct Debit) Mandates: receive an email when a Mandate is created, modified, cancelled or expired.

Accounts: receive an email and/or in-channel notification for the following advices:
- Credit Advice each time a domestic and/or cross border payment credit is deposited into your account.
- Debit Advice each time a domestic, including direct debit, and/or cross border payment is debited from your account.
You will continue to receive Credit and Debit Advices from ANZ Transactive Cash Asia for one week after your upgrade.
How to setup Notifications and Alerts- Go to User Settings in the Application Banner (hint: your username will be displayed)
- Click on Notifications and Alerts
- Select the notifications to turn on
- Determine if any ANZ Transactive - Global system settings need updating and action accordingly.
- Create Scheduled Reports in ANZ Transactive – Global from the Account Reports and Payment Reports screens.
- Upgraded users familiarise themselves with the extensive online help content, including video demonstrations.
