Stop Direct Debit

To stop a direct debit that is in a Future Dated status, follow the steps below.

Use Method 1 or 2 to stop several direct debits at the same time. 
STEP ACTION
1 Go to the Receivables > Current Direct Debits screen
2 Locate the direct debit and use one of the following methods to stop the direct debit:
  • Method 1: Right-click on the direct debit(s) and click Stop on the Context Menu 
  • Method 2: Select the direct debit(s) and click Actions > Stop on the Control Bar
  • Method 3: Click on the direct debit in the list to display the Direct Debit Details screen and then click Stop on the Control Bar
3 Click Yes in the confirmation pop-up window.
RESULT:A confirmation message is displayed advising that the direct debit has been stopped and the direct debit status changes to Draft.
