Stop Cheque allows you to stop an individual cheque or cheque book that has not been presented.
To create a Stop Cheque service request, go to the Create Service Request screen, click Stop Cheque and complete the relevant sections below.
Select Account
If you are entitled to more than one Account, select the Account Number that the cheque relates to from the drop-down list.
Select Stop Type
Choose from:
- Individual Cheque
- Cheque Book
Individual Cheque
Complete the Cheque Details section:
- Enter the Cheque Number
- Enter the cheque Value
- Select the Issue Date of the cheque from the calendar
- Enter the Payee Name to whom the cheque was issued to up to 30 characters
- Enter Notes for your record up to 100 characters
- To add additional cheques, click Add (maximum 10 cheques per request)
- To remove one or more cheques, select the checkbox next to the Cheque Number and click Remove
Cheque Book
Complete the Cheque Book Details section:
- Select the Cheque Book Size from the drop-down list
- Enter the first four digits of the serial number on the First Serial Number section and select the last two digits from the drop-down list
- The End Serial Number section will be populated based on the First Serial Number
- Enter Notes for your record up to 100 characters
A serial number consists of six digits and can be located on your cheque book
Review and Submit
- Review the cheque details and click Submit to submit the service request for processing

- Click View Request Details to view the request details:
- Review the Errors and Alerts section for further information
- In the confirmation pop-up window, choose your next course of action:
- Click View Request Details to view the request details
- Click View Service Request List to go to the Cash Management Service Requests screen
- Click Raise another Service Request to go to the Create Service Requests screen
- Click Ok to go to the Cash Management Service Requests screen
