ANZ Transactive - Global 'Asia & Pacific Payments' - Pipe Delimited File Format

This version incorporates Central Bank and Reporting Codes content for Indonesia and Taiwan, and the removal of cheque processing. Users in the Pacific, Indonesia, Japan, Laos and Taiwan who wish to upload payment files directly in the channel, can now use the 'Asia & Pacific Payments' pipe delimited format guide to prepare payment upload files.

From 16 June 2025, ANZ will no longer send dishonour letters by mail to ANZ Transactive – Global customers who receive returned AU Direct Entry transactions and have the Returned Items feature.

The information contained in the letter is available digitally via the Returned Items tab on the Operating Accounts Details screen, making the letter redundant. A Returned Items Payment Report is also available to create and schedule as required.

This change applies to all AUD accounts linked to ANZ Transactive – Global that also have Returned Items enabled. The paper letter cannot be reinstated once it has been discontinued.

Note that if your organisation does not have Returned Items enabled in ANZ Transactive – Global, you will continue to receive dishonour letters by mail.

You can apply for Returned Items by completing the Amend Digital Channel Details form via Upload Documents Service Requests or the Account and Channel Maintenance Form (Australia).
