Create Interest Profile Screens

Create an Interest Profile

Click Menu > Supplementary Account Services.

Click CREATE on the Control Bar:

Click CREATE INTEREST PROFILE:

Select an Entity from the drop-down list.

To copy details from an existing Interest Profile, click the Copy from existing arrow and select the Interest Profile. If required, update additional fields as detailed in steps 6-13. If no updates are needed, go to Step 14.

Enter a Profile Code up to 50 characters with no spaces.

Enter a Description up to 100 characters.

Select an Effective From date from the calendar. The Interest Profile will be activated on this date.

Select a Currency for interest computation from the drop-down list.

Select the Principal Formula used to calculate balances from the drop-down list. Choose from:
Value balance
Ledger balance
Rolled Up value balance
Rolled up ledger balance

Select the Day basis on which interest is calculation. Choose from:
