About Two-Factor Authentication
It is important that you and your organisation take responsibility to stay protected from ever-changing cybersecurity threats. An effective measure to maintain application security is to use multi-factor authentication when accessing and performing high risk tasks such as payment approvals and managing user permissions.
Both security device types provide Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), which gives you an additional layer of security using a combination of something known (in the form of a password) and something you have (in the form of a security device). Security devices are not required for all users, but ANZ strongly recommends the use of a security device at all times.
