PayTo Agreement Statuses
| PAYTO STATUS | DESCRIPTION |
|---|---|
| Active | A PayTo Agreement is approved and active, and the payee can debit payments from your account for this agreement. |
| Pending Approval | A PayTo Agreement is pending your action, where the payee has created a new agreement or where the payee or payer (you) has changed some details within the agreement. View the PayTo Agreement Details Header Messages for further information about the state of the agreement. |
| Paused | A PayTo Agreement is paused, and the payee will temporarily not be able to debit payments from your account for this agreement. |
| Cancelled | A PayTo Agreement is declined/cancelled, and the payee cannot debit payments from your account for this agreement. |
PayTo Agreement Header Messages
The following header messages can appear at the top of the PayTo Agreement Details screen, based on the actions performed. Single or multiple messages can be displayed.

| PayTo Agreement Received | The payee has sent a new PayTo Agreement requiring action. For this agreement to take effect, it needs to be authorised. |
| PayTo Agreement Active | The payee is able to debit your account for the authorised agreement. |
| PayTo Agreement Declined | The PayTo Agreement proposed by the payee has been declined by your organisation. The payee is not able to debit your account for the agreement. |
| PayTo Agreement Timed Out | This new PayTo Agreement proposed by the payee has timed out and is now cancelled as it was not authorised within the required time. The payee is not able to debit your account for the agreement. |
| PayTo Agreement Recalled | This new PayTo Agreement has been recalled by the payee. The payee is not able to debit your account for the agreement. |
| PayTo Agreement Amendment Received | The payee has sent an amended PayTo Agreement for your review. For this amended agreement to take effect, it needs to be authorised. |
| PayTo Agreement Recalled | An amendment to a PayTo Agreement requiring action has been recalled. |
| PayTo Agreement Amendment Received | The payee has sent an amended PayTo Agreement for your review. For this amended agreement to take effect, it needs to be authorised. |
| PayTo Agreement Updated | This PayTo Agreement has been updated by your organisation and requires authorisation to take effect. |
| PayTo Agreement Cancelled by Payer | This PayTo Agreement has been cancelled by your organisation. The payee is no longer able to debit your account for the agreement. |
| PayTo Agreement Cancelled by Initiating Party | This PayTo Agreement has been cancelled by the payee or their bank. The payee is no longer able to debit your account for the agreement. |
| PayTo Agreement Paused by Payer | This PayTo Agreement has been paused by your organisation. The payee is not able to debit your account until you resume the agreement. |
| PayTo Agreement Paused by Initiating Party | This PayTo Agreement has been paused by the payee. The payee is not able to debit your account until they resume the agreement. |
| PayTo Agreement Declined by Bank | This PayTo Agreement proposed by the payee has been declined by ANZ. The payee is not able to debit your account until you resume the agreement. |
