How do I know if an account is eligible for PayTo Agreements?

What entitlements do I need to access PayTo Agreements?
Please refer to your Company Administrator who can view and update your Permission Settings from the User Details screen. For more information, please refer to User Permissions.
Can I receive a notification when a PayTo Agreement is received, paused or cancelled?
You can enable PayTo Agreement pending authorisations and other updates notifications from your Notifications and Alerts screen. For more information, please refer to User Settings.
What does a PayTo Agreement email look like?
The following is an example of an email for a new PayTo Agreement notification.
Can I use Panel Authorisation for PayTo Agreements?
Currently, PayTo Agreements requires one or two to authorise, based on your organisation's authorisation matrix. For more information, please refer to Division Details Screen.
Can I set Approval Discretion limits for PayTo Agreements at a Daily, Batch and/or Transaction level?
You can only set Approval Discretion limits for PayTo Agreements at a Transaction level.
For PayTo Agreements, the Transaction discretion is the amount a user can approve for one PayTo Agreement. Each Payment initiation against the PayTo Agreement must be less than or equal to the amount specified in the mandate. However, for recurring Agreements, the multiple debits over the Agreement lifecycle may be higher than the Agreement amount.

Can I approve PayTo Agreements from the Transactive Global mobile app?
Currently, this option is not available from the mobile app.
Can I set up a PayTo Agreement using my PayID?
Currently, this option is not available for institutional customers. You can set up a PayTo Agreement using your BSB and account number.
Can I transfer a PayTo Agreement from another bank?
Transferring of a PayTo Agreement from another bank will be available at a later date.
Can I reactivate a cancelled PayTo Agreement?
You cannot not reactivate a cancelled PayTo Agreement. Once cancelled, the payee can no longer debit payments from your account for the PayTo Agreement. Information relating to the PayTo Agreement will remain in the agreement history.
How will PayTo Agreement narratives appear on my account statements?
The statement narrative will include PayTo <end-to-end ID> or Purpose Code TO <first 40 characters of Alias Name/Payee Name>
Can I view all my past transactions within a PayTo Agreement?
To view your PayTo Agreement debits from a specific account:
- Click Accounts menu
- Click Transaction Search menu
- Select account and date
- Enter the narrative to contain PayTo
- Click Search
How do I amend and incorrectly edited PayTo Agreement?
If you have incorrectly edited your account number or payment reference and submitted it for authorisation, the authoriser can Decline the PayTo Agreement. This action will revert the agreement to the previous pre-modified state and will not decline the PayTo Agreement with the merchant.
Can a Direct Debit Request be migrated to a PayTo Agreement?
Merchants, with whom you have an existing Direct Debit Request (DDR) Service Agreement may create a PayTo Agreement as a migrated DDR Service Agreement, to process payments via New Payments Platform (NPP) rather than Bulk Electronic Clearing System (BECS).
The Merchant may notify you in writing that future payments will be processed via NPP. If you choose not to consent to this variation of your DDR Service Agreement, you must contact the Merchant directly.
Once the Merchant has created the PayTo Agreement, it will appear in your PayTo Agreement screen in an Active status. The Merchant must allow at least 5 days before debiting your account after the creation of the PayTo Agreement.
If you are entitled to PayTo Agreements and you have enabled PayTo Agreements in Notifications and Alerts in your user setting in ANZ Transactive – Global, you will receive a notification of this PayTo Agreement.
You will have complete visibility and management of the PayTo Agreements in ANZ Transactive - Global, including view, edit, pause, resume, or decline the agreement.
