About payment templates
Using a preconfigured payment template, reduces time and provides consistency for your frequently used payment instructions. Templates can be created for a number of different payment types, excluding Account Transfers.
Create a payment from a template
To create a payment using a preconfigured template from the Create Payments screen, follow the steps below.

| 1 | Click Payments > Template menu. |
| 2 | Search and select the template to create a payment from. Choose one of the following methods:

| 3 | Click Yes in the confirmation pop-up window.
RESULT: A confirmation message is displayed advising that the payment has been created. You can now enter the remaining payment details as required.

Next Steps
When the payment has been created from a template you can choose from the following options:
- Update the payment instruction
- Review and submit the payment instruction
- Save as Draft
