ANZ Managed vs Company Managed users
ANZ Managed users are created by ANZ and/or have a security device. Administrators can assign Customer managed roles to these users and will be able to modify user details from mid-June 2026.
Company Managed users are created by Administrators and log in with a password only. This type of user is only available in Australia and New Zealand.
To check if a user is ANZ Managed or Company Managed, your organisation's Administrators can go to the User Management screen and click View > Managed By on the Control Bar.

User Identity Verification
- User identity verification is completed in accordance with in-country Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
- Administrators must complete KYC requirements for each geography you operate in.
Users who are entitled to an ANZ managed system role, or perform any of the following functions, must have their identity verified and require a security device:
- All payments and direct debit approvers in Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.
- Final payment and direct debit approvers in Australia and New Zealand.
- Get rate for cross-currency transfers and international payments.
We recommend that all users use a security device for added security when accessing ANZ Transactive – Global.
