Confidential Data Group
Company Administrators must complete Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements for each geography you operate in, and log in with a security device to perform administration tasks.
Confidential Data Groups (CDGs) enable you to have more complex ways of restricting access to templates and payments than Domestic Salary Payments. Users can be entitled to one or more CDG and can then tag a template or payment to a CDG. Only users with access to a particular CDG will be able to view and action templates and payments tagged with the group.
To create a Confidential Data Group, follow the steps below:
STEP | ACTION |
---|---|
1 | Click New |
2 | Enter a unique Confidential Data Group Name up to 35 characters
If you will be using the CDG when importing an AU ABA or a NZ CSV file, ensure the name is no longer than 12 characters as this needs to match the corresponding field in the file.
|
3 | Enter a Confidential Data Group Name Description up 70 characters |
4 | Click Submit
RESULT: The Confidential Data Group is created. You will now need to entitle the Confidential Data Group to users in your organisation. Go to Edit User > 'Edit a user's Permission Settings within a Role' to find out more.
