Decommission Date: 9 November 2024 ANZ will soon be making changes to its IP addresses via a Domain Name System (DNS) update for mft.anzgcis.com.
Why are we making the change?
This change will ensure we continue to deliver a market leading solution for our customers, whilst improving stability and site reliability.
What do you need to do?
If you currently only use DNS to resolve mft.anzgcis.com, then you are not required to make any changes.
If you utilise IP addresses, the below addresses will need to be updated in your system.
New IP addresses: Production IP addresses for mft.anzgcis.com
124.254.95.200 (Primary Site)
203.166.114.200 (Disaster Recovery Site)
IP to be Decommissioned: The IP 203.166.114.48 will be permanently decommissioned on Friday 8th November 2024 at 9am AEST. It’s imperative that if your systems are connecting to this IP, that updates are made for your connection to point to mft.anzgcis.com before the decommission date. Failure to do so will result in your systems not being able to connect to ANZ Fileactive.

How will I be notified of the change?
Communications were sent directly to impacted customers via email on 25 June 2024.
What do I need to do?
If you use the IP address to receive files from Fileactive, you will need to specify the new IP address to allow communication with Fileactive.

When do I need to make the change?
All impacted customers are encouraged to make the change now, prior to decommission date of Saturday 9th November 2024 at 9am AEST
What happens if I don't make the change by due date?
Failure to update the IP address details before the decommission date will result in customers systems not being able to connect to ANZ Fileactive.
What if I don’t know where this connection is coming from?
We recommend that you internally source assistance from your networking team or MFT provider to investigate traffic being sent to IP 203.166.114.48
What if I can't connect to a DNS?
If this is the case, you will need to connect to the primary IP listed in the communications. This is not recommended by ANZ as you would need to make a change in your environment should Fileactive experience a disaster recovery event or change IP’s in future.
I use Zip and Encrypt, does this mean I don't need to make the change?
Yes, you will be required to make the change. Zip and Encrypt is how the files are set up and does not change the connection.
If I connect to ANZ Fileactive via IP address and my system is currently undertaking upgrades/changes can I still make the IP Address change?
Yes you can. Please contact your ANZ Representative to discuss and we will work with you to support your upgrades/changes.
