About Two-Factor Authentication

It is important that you and your organisation take responsibility to stay protected from ever-changing cybersecurity threats. An effective measure to maintain application security is to use multi-factor authentication when accessing and performing high risk tasks such as payment approvals and managing user permissions.

Both security device types provide Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), which gives you an additional layer of security using a combination of something known (in the form of a password) and something you have (in the form of a security device). Security devices are not required for all users, but ANZ strongly recommends the use of a security device at all times.

ANZ offers mulitple security device types for use with ANZ Transactive - Global:

TOKEN

A small device resembling a calculator Generates a One Time Password (OTP) to enter when logging on and/or performing important banking transactions Issued to an individual user and protected by a PIN

ANZ DIGITAL KEY

A downloadable App, enabling use of your mobile device as a security device Log on using your preferred identification method; Face ID, Fingerprint or PIN Upon log on, allows individual users to accept or decline transactions or Get Rate
