To close or delete an account,
- Australia: please refer to Upload Documents Service Requests > Accounts & Legal Entities > Close Account or Digital Channels Service Requests > Delete Account.
- New Zealand: please contact our customer service centre or client service team and request for a 'signed request' to close an account or Digital Channels Service Requests > Delete Account.
- Hong Kong, India, Philippines, Singapore & Vietnam: please complete the ANZ Transactive - Global Maintenance Form to close or delete an account.
About Account Profiles
The Account Management screen provides a list of account numbers assigned to your organisation and user profile. Click on an account from the grid to view additional information including Legal Entity Name, Product Entitlements, Divisions Assigned and Account Discretions (Hong Kong, India, Philippines, Singapore & Vietnam only).
To edit an account, follow the steps below:

Search and select the account. Use one of the following methods to edit the account profile:

| 3 | If required, edit the Account Short Name. |
| 4 | If required, edit the Account Discretion amount. (Available for China, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Philippines & Vietnam) |

If required, update Division Assignment:

| 6 | Click Save on the Control Bar. |
Error and alert messages such as 'fields validations' display information about the impacted field(s) and highlights the field(s) in red. Error messages are specific to the fields available and particulars validations. You can update the information within the impacted field(s) and continue processing the request.
Mandatory field validations:
Division Assignment
To assign a division to an account, the division’s primary jurisdiction must include the account’s domiciled country or region. If not, the following error will occur: "The selected division cannot be added as the account country does not match the division's primary jurisdiction."
Know Your Customer (KYC):
If you have not completed your Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements in the geographies you have access to, you will receive an error message upon saving the task. Please contact ANZ to complete your KYC requirements.
"This request could not be completed as you have not completed KYC (Know Your Customer). Please contact ANZ to complete KYC. Please include error ID <reference> in your enquiries.
