Create Template from Direct Debit

To create a template from a direct debit in a Needs Repair, Pending Approval, Future Dated, Processing, Bank Rejected or Completed status, follow the steps below:

STEP ACTION
1 Click Receivables > Current Direct Debits menu

Use one of the following methods to create a template from the direct debit:

  • Method 1: Right-click on the direct debit and click Create Template From on the Context Menu. 
  • Method 2: Select the direct debit and click Actions > Create Template From on the Control Bar.
  • Method 3: Click on the direct debit in the list to display the Direct Debit Details screen and then click Create a template on the Control Bar.
RESULT: A Create Template from this Direct Debit pop-up window is displayed.
3 Enter a Template Name up to 16 characters. This will become the Direct Debit Name when you create a direct debit from this template.
4 If required, enter a Template Description up to 40 characters.
5 Click Ok.

In the confirmation pop-up window, choose your next course of action:

  • Click Ok to return to the current screen
  • Click View this Template to view the details of the template
