About Account Transfer Templates
What is an Account Transfer template?
An account transfer template allows you transfer funds between two of your ANZ domiciled accounts held within the same parent and subsidiary entity, within the same geography.
Once successfully created, you can use the preconfigured template to create your payment instructions.

Payment Template Rules for an Account Transfer templates
- Non-fixed payment templates: When creating a payment from a template, some fields cannot be edited, including the division, bank/branch, and debit account.
- Fixed payment templates: When creating a payment from a fixed template, additional fields will be restricted if 'Allow Modifications' checkbox has not been selected, including the amount.
- Payment instructions within a template are not considered mandatory, as additional information can be added at time of payment, including payment amount, FX Details, etc.
Who can create an Account Transfer template?
- Eligible users with Initiator and account access can create and manage an Account Transfer template based on your organisation's predetermined user permissions and payment settings. These role permissions can include:
- Initiator
- Initiate/Authorise
- Full Access

The following is an example of an Account Transfer template screen with fields including the template name and template group. All other fields replicate the Account Transfer screen.
Create a payment template
There are multiple ways you can create an Account Transfer template using the Account Transfer payment method from the Asia & Pacific Payments menu. Choose from the following options:
- Click Templates > New (see step-by-step instructions below)
- Click Approve Payments > select payment > Actions > Create Template
- Click Current Payments > select payment > Actions > Create Template
- Click Past Payments > select payment > Actions > Create Template
To create an Account Transfer template, follow the steps below:

1 | Click Asia & Pacific Payments > Templates menu. |
2 | Click New on the Control Bar. |
3 | Click Account Transfer Template. |
4 | Enter a Template Name up to 70 characters. This will become the Template Name when you create a payment from the template. |
5 | If required, select Template Group. |
6 | If required, select the Fixed Payment Template checkbox to restrict fields from being edited when creating the payment. |
7 | If required, select the Division the payment will be made from. If you are entitled to more than one division, you can set a default division for future payments. The Bank/Branch field will prepopulate from the Division selected. |
8 | Select the Debit Account. |
9 | Select the Credit Account. |
10 | Enter payment Amount By default, the Payment Currency is the currency of the credit account. |
11 | If required, select Enter Amounts in Debit Currency if payment amount is in a different currency and enter a Debit Currency & Amount. |
12 | Enter the Statement Narrative up to 20 characters. |

Only one foreign exchange rate can be added to this payment. If required, enter FX Details.Choose Rate Type from:

15 | Click Close to return to the Templates screen. |
