Approve Direct Debit Template
STEP
ACTION

Click Receivables > Templates menu.

Search and select the template(s) to approve. Choose from:
Click View > Pending Approval from the Control Bar.
Use Filter on the Control Bar. Enter one or more criteria under the relevant column headings to display records that match your selections.
Click a column heading to sort the data in ascending order and click again to sort in descending order.

Use one of the following methods to approve the template:
Method 1: Select the template(s) and click Approve on the Control Bar.
Method 2: Right-click on the template(s) and click Approve on the Context Menu.
Method 3: Select the template(s) and click Actions > Approve on the Control Bar.
Method 4: Click on the template to display the Template Details screen and then click Approve on the Control Bar.
RESULT: A confirmation message is displayed advising that the template(s) has been approved and the template status changes to Approved.
Copy Direct Debit Template

Click Receivables > Templates menu.

Search and select the template(s) to copy. Choose from:
Use Filter on the Control Bar. Enter one or more criteria under the relevant column headings to display records that match your selections.
Click a column heading to sort the data in ascending order and click again to sort in descending order.

Use one of the following methods to copy the template:
Method 1: Right-click on the template and click Copy on the Context Menu.
Method 2: Select the template and click Actions > Copy on the Control Bar.
Method 3: Click on the template to display the Template Details screen and then click Copy on the Control Bar.
RESULT: The template details are copied into a new template that is in a Draft status.
Click Save as Draft on the Control Bar to complete any template updates at a later time. Click Template Audit History on the Control Bar to view the template's audit history. Click Close on the Control Bar to discard any updates made to the template.
Delete Direct Debit Template
You can delete a direct debit template in the following statuses: Draft, Needs Repair, Approver Rejected or Approved.

Method 1: Right-click on the template and click Delete on the Context Menu.
Method 2: Select the template and click Actions > Delete on the Control Bar.
Method 3: Click on the template to display the Template Details screen and then click Delete on the Control Bar.

Click Yes.
RESULT: A confirmation message is displayed advising that the template(s) has been deleted and the template status changes to Deleted.
Edit Direct Debit Template
To edit a submitted template that is in Pending Approval status, you must first recall the template.
You can edit a direct debit template in the following statuses: Draft, Needs Repair, Approver Rejected or Approved.

Click Review & Submit.

RESULT:
If your organisation requires Templates to be approved, a confirmation pop-up window is displayed advising that the template has been submitted for approval. The template will need to be approved (or rejected) before it can be used to create a direct debit.
If your organisation does not require Templates to be approved, a confirmation pop-up window is displayed, and the template is ready to be used to create a direct debit. Note that you may need to approve new payers added to the template before a direct debit can be made.
Recall Direct Debit Template
To recall a submitted direct debit template in a Pending Approval status, follow the steps below, which will update the status to Draft.

Method 3: Click on the template to display the Template Details screen and then click Recall on the Control Bar.
RESULT: A confirmation message is displayed advising that the template(s) has been recalled and the template status changes to Draft. You can now edit the template.
Reject Direct Debit Template

Click a column heading to sort the data in ascending order and click again to sort in descending order.

Use one of the following methods to reject the template:
Method 1: Right-click on the template and click Reject on the Context Menu.
Method 2: Select the template and click Actions > Reject on the Control Bar.
Method 3: Click on the template to display the Template Details screen and then click Reject on the Control Bar.

Select a reason for rejecting the template(s) or choose Other and enter your reason. Then click OK.
RESULT: A confirmation message is displayed advising that the template(s) has been rejected and the template status changes to Approver Rejected.
Submit Direct Debit Template
You can submit a direct debit template in the following statuses: Draft, Needs Repair, or Approver Rejected.
