About Channel Consolidation
As part of ANZ’s commitment to enhance your digital banking experience, we are upgrading all customers from ANZ Transactive Cash Asia to ANZ Transactive – Global.
Selected organisations that meet the following conditions will be invited to consolidate your multiple channel profile sites in the coming months. Organisations must have the following criteria:
- ANZ Transactive Cash Asia channel profile in Hong Kong, Singapore, or both; and
- ANZ Transactive - Global channel profile in Australia, New Zealand or both.
The consolidation enables customers to have a single digital channel to access, view and manage their banking in one platform.
ANZ representatives have contacted selected customers with the above criteria to discuss the upgrade options.
What channel profile upgrade options are available?
- Consolidate your ANZ Transactive Cash Asia and your ANZ Transactive – Global sites to manage your cash management, balance and transaction reporting, trade finance and other institutional banking services in one convenient digital channel.
- Create separate organisation profiles in ANZ Transactive – Global to manage your accounts, Users, products, and services independently.
How can I find out more about my channel profile upgrade options?
An ANZ representative will walk you through your current Digital solutions set up, and discuss your options in relation to user management, customer administration and how the end-to-end process to upgrade your organisation(s) to ANZ Transactive – Global will occur.
Consolidation benefits
When choosing to consolidate your sites, your organisation has the added option for Users to:
- Retain ‘all accounts’ access, allowing Users to automatically gain access to new accounts added to the organisation profile including accounts across different geographies or,
- Restrict account access to the User’s existing entities and geographies only. This means when new accounts are opened, Customer Administration will need to assign accounts to Users.
Consolidation considerations
When choosing to consolidate your sites, please consider the following considerations:
If the necessary KYC requirements have not been met by your migration date, we can still proceed with the site consolidation. However, your AU/NZ Company Administrators will be revoked upon migration to ensure the administrators cannot act as an agent on behalf of your cross-jurisdiction sites until the KYC has been completed.
In this event, all administrative functions will need to be performed via paper forms until the required entity KYC documentation is submitted.
Roles and responsibilities
When choosing the consolidation option, including the option to upgrade some ANZ Transactive Cash Asia Users with an existing security device to Customer Administrators in ANZ Transactive – Global, your Customer Administrators can:
-
- add and delete Users’ access to accounts in all geographies,
- add and delete designated products (subject to the relevant terms and conditions for that product) for Users,
- manage User approval discretions,
- disable or delete User access,
- enable previously disabled Users,
- create new Users to access the ANZ channel (password only access – one factor authentication) to allow that User to access accounts in all jurisdictions. Please note that in certain jurisdictions, two factor authentication is required, and
- amend authorisation models for product/services.
Your organisation also agrees that any User appointed as a Customer Administrator will be able to complete User access management activities for Users and accounts across all legal entities and jurisdictions.
User Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements
Customer Administrators require a security device and must complete ANZ’s KYC (Know You Customer) process for all jurisdictions they operate in. Newly appointed Customer Administrators will be contacted to complete identity verification requirements if they have not already completed ANZ’s KYC process.
For more information, please refer to Administrator Responsibilities. If you prefer your Users to have access to selected accounts only, please advise your ANZ Representative to modify the User's entitlements.
- For Asia (excl. China), please refer to Payment Reports.
- For Australia, China & New Zealand, please refer to Report Centre.
- AU, CN and NZ will move to Payment Reports in late 2025.
- For Pacific & Laos payment reports, please refer to Asia & Pacific Reports.
How will Users in my organisation be impacted by the upgrade?
When choosing the consolidation option, your Users will have access to a single ANZ Transactive – Global site, with single sign-on to your organisation’s products and services based on your user permissions.
Segregation benefits
When choosing the segregation option:
- your ANZ Transactive Cash Asia site will operate independently of the ANZ Transactive – Global site making it easier to segregate the business based on jurisdiction
- your accounts and user permissions to your accounts will remain unchanged when your ANZ Transactive Cash Asia site is upgraded to ANZ Transactive – Global.
Segregation considerations
When choosing the segregation option, please consider that Users accessing both sites will have two sets of User credentials:
- one, for the new ANZ Transactive - Global site
- one, for the existing ANZ Transactive - Global site
How will Users in my organisation be impacted by the upgrade?
When choosing the segregation option, your Users and User permissions will remain unchanged, however Users who need access to the multiple sites will require separate Log Ons including user ids, passwords, and security devices.
If your organisation decides to consolidate multiple legal entities across jurisdictions into one ANZ Transactive – Global channel profile, please refer to the below considerations for your site administrators.
- KYC Verification: Existing ANZ Transactive - Global site administrators are required to re-complete their identity verification process (known as ‘KYC’ - Know Your Customer) to ensure ANZ meets the required regulatory requirements for all jurisdictions that you operate in. Please contact your ANZ representative for more information.
- User Management: If you choose to consolidate your channel profiles, you can view and manage Users in your organisation across all jurisdictions and legal entities. As ANZ Transactive - Global allows Customer Administrators to export User and account reports, we recommend that you familiarise yourself with your organisation's internal policies for managing and protecting this data. Certain jurisdictions have a high data classification, which requires more stringent security measures/protocols.
- Role Assignment: If you choose to consolidate your channel profiles, the Customer Administrators will have access to Users across jurisdictions that your organisation operates in. When assigning roles to Users (post consolidation), it is important that you select an appropriate “Role Division” within the User entitlement. This will restrict the User’s access to only the accounts and jurisdictions they are authorised to access.
- KYC Requirements for certain features: Certain features in ANZ Transactive – Global require Users to meet User identification requirements in specific jurisdictions in line with Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing requirements. These features include but are not limited to, authorising a payment funded from an Asia-domiciled account, and accepting a dynamic rate for a cross-currency payment. Although you can add products, accounts and role entitlements to any User, Users also need to fulfill the User identification requirement for the relevant jurisdictions to complete the required functions.
- Asia Product and Account Access: While it is possible to assign Asia-related products and accounts to Users with password-only access (1-factor authentication), please note that ANZ Transactive - Global may restrict/suppress certain Asia accounts and features from Users who have not authenticated with 2-factor authentication. This is required to comply with regional regulatory requirements. For example, accessing Singapore or Hong Kong data requires 2-factor authentication.
How do I request my chosen channel profile upgrade option?
Following the discussion with ANZ, your organisation(s)’s representatives will be asked to advise your preferred option. ANZ will then issue your organisation a letter confirming your chosen option.
- If you choose the option to consolidate sites, your authorised signatories in each geography will need to sign as per each geographies signing mandate and return the letter, confirming the consolidation upgrade.
- If you choose the option to segregate sites, your letter is an acknowledgement of your segregation upgrade.
When will the channel profile upgrade occur?
Post issuance of your segregation letter, or returned signed confirmation letter to ANZ, you will receive further communication from ANZ with your upgrade date together with any other additional information to support your upgrade to ANZ Transactive – Global.
- Asia - to be signed by authorised signatories as per Board Resolution
- Australia/New Zealand - authorised signatories who can currently sign an ANZ Transactive Amendment Form, or 2 directors, or a director and company secretary.
- If all entities choose to sign one document per entity, then each jurisdiction can sign as per their existing signing mandates, such as wet signature or digital signing.
- If all entities choose to sign one set of documents, then only one option of wet signature or digital signing is allowed.
- If any consolidation involves a New Zealand entity, and if one set of documents is required, then all signatories must be wet signatories.
