ABA - Osko | Australia Domestic Payments file format that will be processed using the Osko payment method, allowing beneficiaries to receive funds in near real time. |
CSV | Australia Domestic Payments file format containing one batch of payment instructions. |
BPAY | Australia BPAY Payments file format containing payment instructions to one or more billers. A batch is created for all instructions in the file that have the same funding account and value date. Your funding account is debited for each instruction in a BPAY batch. |
MT101 | RTGS/SCP and International Payments file format containing one or more payment instructions. Each payment instruction is processed as a single batch. |
NZ CSV without Control Record | Import a New Zealand CSV file containing payment instructions in one batch, excluding a Batch Control Record. You will need to enter the header information when importing the file. |
NZ CSV with Control Record | Import a New Zealand CSV file containing payment instructions in one batch, including a Batch Control Record. You will need to enter the header information when importing the file. |

ABA
- If you are entitled to more than one Division, select the Division under which the payment will be made

- Select ABA from the File Format drop-down list
- Leave the File Encoding default as UTF-8 or select US-ASCII from the drop-down list
File Encoding determines what data can be stored in the file. For example, ASCII can only store the basic set of English characters whereas UTF-8 can store every Unicode character.
- For salary payments, tick Import as a Salary Payment
You will only see this if you have Payroll as an entitlement. Only users with the Payroll entitlement will be able to view and action the payment.
- If you need to add new beneficiaries or edit beneficiary details after the file is imported, ensure Disable Beneficiary Details is not selected
If enabled, users will still be able to edit the amount or payment reference for each beneficiary in the file.
- Enter a Payment Reference up to 18 characters. This will appear as part of the narrative on the debit account and beneficiaries statement and on payment reports. If left blank, this will default to the Description of entries on File in the file Descriptive record.
- Enter a Statement Narrative up to 40 characters. This will appear as part of the narrative on the funding account statement. If left blank, this will default to the Description of entries on File + the User Identification Number in the file Descriptive record.
- If required, select a Confidential Data Group or Derive from the file from the drop-down list. If deriving from the file, ensure the Description of entries on File field in the file Descriptive Record contains the full Confidential Data Group Name .
Only users who are entitled to the Confidential Data Group will be able to view and action the payment.
- Click Browse to find and select the payment file to upload
- Click Start Upload
RESULT: The file will be scanned and processed. You can find details of the file in the File Import Summary screen. If a payment was successfully created, it can be viewed in the Current Payments screen.
ABA-OSKO
Osko payments are processed using individual debits which results in a separate debit on your account for each payment instruction.

- Enter a Payment Reference up to 18 characters. This will appear as part of the narrative on the debit account and beneficiaries statement and on payment reports. If left blank, this will default to the Description of entries on File in the file Descriptive record.
- If required, select a Confidential Data Group from the drop-down list.
Only users who are entitled to the Confidential Data Group will be able to view and action the payment.
- If you need to set a specific Release Time for when the payment will be processed on the Value Date, select the Hour and Minute (in increments of 10 minutes).
- Enter a Statement Narrative up to 40 characters. This will appear as part of the narrative on the funding account statement. If left blank, this will default to the Description of entries on File + the User Identification Number in the file Descriptive record.
- Select the DE User ID from the drop-down list
- Click Browse to find and select the payment file to upload
- Click Start Upload

BPAY
