What is Economic Pulse?
Economic Pulse provides aggregated ANZ retail spending data across Australia, helping you monitor economic trends by region and industry.
How do I access Economic Pulse?
Economic Pulse is available to eligible users from the Data Insights menu in ANZ Transactive - Global. If you do not see the menu, your Company Administrator can enable access by assigning the 'Strategic Insights' role to your user permissions.
Please note that Economic Pulse is not available to Commercial Card-only users. To enable access for these users, a separate profile must be created.

How often is Economic Pulse data refreshed?
Economic Pulse data is updated daily, with the information typically two business days behind the current date.
How much historical data is available?
Economic Pulse allows you to benchmark spend against any year from 2019 onwards.
Can I export data from Economic Pulse?
Yes, the content of individual dashboard widgets can be exported to CSV using the Export icon.
What does the term ‘SA3’ mean in some of the chart headings?
SA3 (or Statistical Area Level 3) is an Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) term referring to the 358 geographical areas that cover the whole of Australia. Statistical Areas are used by the ABS to standardise statistical data. Refer to the ABS website for more information.
Is Economic Pulse available on the ANZ Transactive - Global mobile app?
No, Economic Pulse is only available via the desktop version of ANZ Transactive – Global.
