About Channel Segregation

As part of ANZ’s commitment to enhance your digital banking experience, we are upgrading all customers from ANZ Transactive Cash Asia to ANZ Transactive – Global.

Segregation for your organisation's multiple channel profile sites will commence in the coming months, allowing your organisations to operate independently of each other, and manage your accounts, Users, products, and services separately.

Segregation is applicable to organisations that meet the following requirements:

  • ANZ Transactive Cash Asia channel profile; and
  • ANZ Transactive - Global channel profile in Australia, New Zealand or both.

Channel segregation benefits
When segregating your sites:
  • your ANZ Transactive Cash Asia site will operate independently of the ANZ Transactive – Global site making it easier to segregate the business based on jurisdiction, and
  • your accounts and user permissions to your accounts will remain unchanged when your ANZ Transactive Cash Asia site is upgraded to ANZ Transactive – Global.
Channel segregation considerations
Account Management
When you have been upgraded to ANZ Transactive - Global, your Asia accounts will be accessible from your new site, allowing you to view accounts, account balances and transaction reporting for your eligible accounts.
Cheques
Cheque processing will not be available through the ANZ Transactive - Global payments menu. For organisations that still require this service, you can manage your cheque processing from your Australia and/or New Zealand site via the Applications menu and selecting the ANZ Transactive Cash Asia tile. Cheques processing will no longer be available from 2026.
Customer Administration
When segregating sites, Company Administrators with access to their dedicated sites have a range of responsibilities that help manage various product configurations, user access management, and system settings. Access to the multiple sites require separate User IDs as each site is independant of each other.

Company Administrators must complete Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements for each geography you operate in, and log in with a security device to perform administration tasks. Please refer to Administration Roles for more information.

Can Users from ANZ Transactive Cash Asia request for Administrator access?

Past Payments
Your past ANZ Transactive Cash Asia payments will not be migrated over to the ANZ Transactive - Global site. However, you can access your past payments from your Australia and/or New Zealand site via the Applications menu and selecting the ANZ Transactive Cash Asia tile.

Upgraded users will have 'view only' access to ANZ Transactive Cash Asia channel for a period of time to download your payment history.

User Access
When segregating sites, please consider that Users accessing both sites will have two or more sets of User credentials:
  • one, for the new ANZ Transactive - Global site(s), and
  • one, for the existing ANZ Transactive - Global site.
Your existing User ID will be assigned to your Australia and/or New Zealand site. You will receive a new User ID for your new ANZ Transactive - Global site for your Asian geography.

How will Users in my organisation be impacted by the upgrade?

When segregating sites, your Users and User permissions will remain unchanged, however Users who need access to the multiple sites will require separate Log Ons including user ids, passwords, and security devices.

  • Users with existing ANZ Digital Key (ADK), can switch between your multiple user profiles within the application.
  • Users with existing Tokens, will require two separate devices.
