Create Contract Screen – ANZ Digital Services Help

The Create Contract screen is available to users who have Create or Create and Manage entitlements for Foreign Exchange in ANZ Transactive - Global.

The Create Contract Screen allows you to create a new FX Contract or FX Swap.

Create FX Contract

To create a FX Contract, follow the steps below:

STEP	ACTION
1	Click Create FX Contract
2	Select the two currencies to buy and sell from the You Buy Amount and You Sell Amount drop-down lists
3	Enter either a buy amount or a sell amount
4	Select the tenor from the Settlement Date drop-down list or select a settlement date from the calendar. Choose from: Today - A foreign exchange contract with a settlement date that is the same as the trade date Tomorrow - A foreign exchange contract with a settlement date that is 1 business day after the trade date Spot - A foreign exchange contract with a settlement date that is 2 business days after the trade date Spot+1 - A foreign exchange contract with a settlement date that is 3 business days after the trade date Week (1W, 2W, 3W) Month (1M, 2M, 3M, 4M, 5M, 6M, 7M, 8M, 9M, 10M, 11M Year (1Y, 2Y, 3Y, 4Y, 5Y) Custom
5	Click Get Quote RESULT: The quote will be displayed on screen:
6	Click Accept within 20 seconds to lock in the rate provided RESULT: The contract is created and a notification is sent to the confirmation recipients for acknowledgement.

Create FX Swap

To create a FX Swap, follow the steps below:

1	Click Create FX Swap
2	Select either Even or Uneven and follow the steps below: Create Even FX Swap Near Leg: Enter either a buy amount or a sell amount Near Leg: Select the two currencies to buy and sell from the You Buy Amount and You Sell Amount drop-down lists Near Leg: Select the tenor from the Settlement Date drop-down list or select a settlement date from the calendar Far Leg: Select the tenor from the Settlement Date drop-down list or select a settlement date from the calendar Create Uneven FX Swap Near Leg: Enter either a buy amount or a sell amount Near Leg: Select the two currencies to buy and sell from the You Buy Amount and You Sell Amount drop-down lists Near Leg: Select the tenor from the Settlement Date drop-down list or select a settlement date from the calendar Far Leg: Enter either a buy amount or a sell amount Far Leg: Select the tenor from the Settlement Date drop-down list or select a settlement date from the calendar
3	Click Get Quote RESULT: The quote will be displayed on screen.
4	Click Accept within 20 seconds to lock in the rate provided RESULT: The contract is created and a notification is sent to the confirmation recipients for acknowledgement.
