What is a Pending Quote?
A Pending Quote is a quote request awaiting review due to specific conditions, such as:
- Term less than 7 days,
- Term exceeds 12 months,
- Future-dated start date, or
- Other system-related exceptions.
Pending Quote Statuses
Quotes that require review will have their status updated based on actions taken. The table below explains each status in detail.

| Quote Request Submitted | The quote request has been submitted to ANZ Markets for review and pricing. Quotes in this status will display non-editable deposit and term details. |
| Awaiting Response | The quote request is available for review. Quotes in this status will display quoted terms. From this screen you can proceed with the quote or decline it. An email notification will be sent to inform you that the status has been updated to Awaiting Response. |
Parameters of a Pending Quote
Quotes are only available between 8am to 4pm AEST/AEDT.
Who can action a Pending Quote?
Eligible users with Pilot - Account Enhancements role permission, can create and manage Term Deposits in ANZ Transactive - Global.

View and action Pending Quotes
To action a Pending Quote, follow the steps below:

Select the Deposit in an Awaiting Response status.
RESULT: The quote will display on screen.

| 2 | Review the quote details and select the required Term. |

Click Proceed with Quote to lock in the rate and term provided. Decline Quote
Follow the steps below to decline quote:
If Other is selected, enter reason for declining the quote. Click Decline Quote.
RESULT: The deposit quote is now rejected.

Select your Nominated Principal Settlement

Select your nominated Principal at Maturity You can update this instruction on the maturity date - by 11am AEST/AEDT for auto-roll, or by 4pm AEST/AEDT for other options.

Select your Nominated Interest Settlement

| 7 | Click Review & Confirm. |

Deposit and Term Details display for your review.
RESULT: The deposit instruction has been submitted. A confirmation email will be sent to you, and the deposit will be visible on the View Deposits screen by next calendar day.

Unable to Submit Your Request
The following message will display if a Pending Quote in awaiting response status is submitted for instruction after 4pm AEST/AEDT.
Next Steps
When the deposit instruction has been successfully submitted, click Done to close the deposit instruction and return to the View Deposit screen.
