- Deposits in ANZ Transactive - Global is available to users who have Pilot - Account Enhancements role.
What is a Term Deposit?
A Term Deposit is a fixed‑term savings investment designed to earn a fixed interest rate on a lump sum for an agreed period.
Parameters of a Term Deposit
- Amount - there is no minimum or maximum amount.

Term - maximum term available is up to 60 months.
If selected term is less than 7 days or greater than 12 months, the quote will be reviewed by ANZ Markets team. The quote can be viewed from the Pending Quotes screen. - Start Date will default today. Select a future date within the next 7 business days. At-Call Deposits can only have a start date of today.
- Future Start Date - the quote will be reviewed by ANZ Markets team. The quote can be viewed from the Pending Quotes screen.
- Quotes are only available between 8am to 4pm AEST/AEDT.
- Deposit currency is AUD only.
- Pre-loaded settlement instructions can be updated on maturity date - by 11am AEST/AEDT for auto-roll, or by 4pm AEST/AEDT for other options.
Who can create a Term Deposit?
Eligible users with Pilot - Account Enhancements role permission, can create and manage Term Deposits in ANZ Transactive - Global.

Create a Term Deposit
The Create Deposit Screen allows you to create a new Term Deposit.
To create a Term Deposit, follow the steps below:

| 1 | Click Term Deposit > Create Deposit menu. |
| 2 | Select the Entity name. |
| 3 | Enter Deposit Amount. |

Select the Term Type. Choose from:
If required, tick the checkbox See 1-12 month curve to view rates over this period. |
| 5 | Start Date will default with the current business date. If required, choose a future value date within the next 7 business days. |

Click Get Quote
RESULT: The quote will display on screen.

Click Proceed with Quote to lock in the rate and term provided. Alternatively, click Back to update your deposit details and request for a new quote. Decline Quote
Follow the steps below to decline quote:
If Other is selected, enter reason for declining the quote. Click Decline Quote.
RESULT: The deposit quote is now rejected.

RESULT: The deposit instruction has been submitted. A confirmation will be sent to you, and the deposit will be visible on the View Deposits screen.

Unable to Display Quote
The following message will display if the Create Deposit request:
- Term is less than 7 days,
- Term is greater than 12 months, or
- Start date in the future is selected.
Your quote will be reviewed by ANZ Markets team and updates can be viewed from the Pending Quotes screen.
Unable to Submit Your Request
The following message will display if the Create Deposit request is submitted after 4pm AEST/AEDT.
Next Steps
When the deposit instruction has been successfully submitted, you can choose from the following on-screen options:
- Click Create Another - close the deposit instruction and create another deposit instruction.
- Click Done - close the deposit instruction and return to the View Deposit screen.
