Full details are available in Features by Geography.

About PayNow payments

What is a PayNow payment?

PayNow allows you to transfer funds from your Singapore domiciled SGD account registered to ANZ Transactive Global, to a beneficiary's account using either a Unique Entity Number (UEN), Virtual Payment Address (VPA), National Registration Identity Card / Foreign Identification Number (NRIC/FIN) or mobile number. Beneficiaries must register one of these options to their nominated bank account. Funds are credited to the beneficiary account in near real-time.

Payment method rules for PayNow payments

  • Value date will default with the current or next business date if the payment is created on a non-business date or after payment cut-off
  • Non-business days - ANZ Transactive Global will not allow you to create a payment where the Value Date is a non-business day (e.g., weekend, public holiday, bank holiday) or a currency holiday
  • Cut-off time for PayNow payments is 23.59 SGT
  • Payment currency and debit currency is SGD only
  • Maximum payment value is 200,000.00
  • Maximum number of payment instructions is 10,000 for a bulk payment, and 1,000 for an itemised payment.
  • Invalid Character rules apply to this payment type.

    • Manage Payments - Adhoc (Adhoc & Approved Beneficiaries)
