From 2 March 2026, email addresses for users will be masked within the Settings and Preferences screen of ANZ Transactive – Global as an increased security measure.

The level of masking will depend on the length of the email username (the part before “@”):

1. Username longer than 5 characters

• The first and last characters remain visible; all characters in between are masked.
• Example:
  • Full email: johndoel@example.com
  • Displayed as: j******l@example.com

2. Username 5 characters or fewer

• Only the first character remains visible; the rest of the username is masked.
• Example:
  • Full email: johnd@example.com
  • Displayed as: j****@example.com
